Credit Controller
A Credit Controller is a pivotal role in managing a company’s cash cycle and keeping outstanding cash due from customers to a minimum. They are responsible for ensuring all the company’s debts are collected within agreed payment terms. They require a strong but professional approach when dealing with customers, with excellent communication and, if necessary good negotiation skills.
A Credit Controller can often be responsible for ensuring the sales ledger is accurate and reviewed fully to ensure all invoices are sent to the customer.
A strong Credit Controller will also be incredibly organised and must ensure the debt chasing process is robust and all calls followed up.
